Usage · Dosage |
For adults ( including the elderly ), the recommended dose is 5 mg once a day. If necessary, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 10 mg once a day. This medicine can be taken with or without a meal and should be swallowed at one time with water. The following patients require adjustment of dosage. 1 . renal impairment No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance >30 ml/min). For patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤30ml/min), careful administration is required, and the dose should not exceed 5mg once a day . 2. Hepatic impairment No dose adjustment is necessary in patients with mild hepatic impairment . For patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh grade B), careful administration is required, and the dose should not exceed 5 mg once a day . 3. Patients taking potent cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) inhibitors The maximum daily dose should be limited to 5 mg a day for patients taking ketoconazole or other strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ex) ritonavir , nelfinavir , itraconazole ) |
