Usage · Dosage |
1. Epilepsy 1) Monotherapy or additional therapy for 13 years old or order patients Perform step titration over the 3 days of dosing to achieve a maintenance dose of 900 mg/day as gabapentin. 2) Additional therapy for 3-12 years old children Perform step titration over 3 days to achieve a maintenance dose of 30 mg per kg of weight as gabapentin. 2. Neuropathic pain Adults (18 years old or older ) : Perform step titration over the 3 days of dosing to achieve a maintenance dose of 900 mg/day as gabapentin. 3. the weak : In patients with low weight or after transplantation, the gabapentin dose should be increased in 100 mg increments . 4. Elderly : Due to the deterioration of renal function with old age, dosage adjustment may be necessary ( see table ). |
