| Usage · Dosage |
○ Adult : Medicate 5 mg once a day before bedtime as donepezil hydrocholoride. Since the concentration of donepezil reaches a steady state 15 days after medication and the frequency of adverse reactions may be affected by the rate of increase, a dose of 5 mg should be administered for 4 to 6 weeks. After evaluating the clinical response during this period, the dose may be increased to 10 mg. When the dose is increased to 10 mg per day, administer it while paying attention to adverse reactions in the digestive system. When the drug administration is stopped, the effect gradually decreases, and there is no rebound effect due to abrupt discontinuation of the drug. ○ Underweight Female patients over 85 years of age : Due to the high incidence of adverse reactions, careful monitoring is required. Older women who are underweight should not exceed 5 mg per day. ○ Children : There is no experience with children. |
